Questions,
answered.
Everything actors ask before booking a headshot session in the East Village — preparation, delivery, retouching, and payment.
I’ve never done a professional photoshoot before — will you guide me through it?
Absolutely. I’ll guide you through poses, subtle movements, and expressions that reflect your personality and goals. There’s no right or wrong — just you. Together we’ll bring that out in a relaxed, creative way.
How should I prepare for my session?
Before your shoot we’ll discuss your goals and what you want your images to say, and I’ll send you a short guide. Bring a few outfit options in different tones, textures, and moods. Solid colors work best, but your personal style always wins over strict rules.
How do I choose my final photos?
After the session you’ll get a private online gallery of unedited images. Take your time marking favorites and choosing which to have professionally retouched. If you’re unsure, I’ll help you narrow it down — often the strongest shots are the ones that feel effortless and real.
When and how will I receive my photos?
You’ll receive an online gallery with your unedited photos within 1–3 business days. Once you select your favorites for retouching, the final images are typically ready in another 1–3 days, delivered in high resolution — ready for castings, IMDb, or social media.
What’s the difference between color grading and retouching?
Color grading adjusts tone, contrast, and overall cinematic mood across the gallery. Retouching goes deeper — perfecting skin and details for a polished finish on your selected frames.
Where is the studio located?
My studio is in the East Village, New York City — 203 2nd Avenue. It’s a private, calm room with hand-painted canvas backdrops.
What’s your payment and rescheduling policy?
A $100 deposit secures your date and time; the balance is due on the day of your shoot. I accept Zelle, Cash App, or cash. Deposits are non-refundable because your slot is reserved exclusively for you, but you can reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice.
